Overview

ZZVP nitrogen relief valve / self-operated micro-pressure regulator is a final control element that requires no external energy supply. When the tank pressure rises to the set point, the relief valve opens quickly to discharge the excess pressure from the tank. When the tank pressure drops, the micro-pressure regulator opens to admit nitrogen into the tank.

As the micro-pressure regulator must be used at pressures below 0.1 MPa, when the site pressure is higher a ZZYP pressure regulating valve must be installed to reduce the pressure to below 0.1 MPa before use. The nominal pressure is 0.1 MPa, the pressure set point can be adjusted in segments from 0.5 kPa to below 66 kPa, and the medium temperature is up to 80 °C.
